Rock- A-Bye Baby



TGIF to everyone and what a beautiful sunny day here.  I am here with a baby card using my new cart., Nursery Rhymes, which I won over at HIMCR on one of Laurie's challenges.  From my stash I added MS doily border, an old flower sticker border. The paper is from Recollections and Lost & Found/My Minds Eye.  It was a simple  and quick card.  Even though I never make a card quickly.  It always takes me quite a while to do any card.  Enjoy your weekend and thanks for joining me.

My Peeps

Hi all. I am here with a quick and simple peachy card.  I used create a Critter & Doodle Charm carts. and some of my stash.  I added punched flowers(old Marvy punch), Pebbles chalk, Gems, Pearls(Recollections) and PK-135 Bear Facial Features.  I hand wrote the sentiment that best went with the card.  I had made this card during Easter and never posted it.  Thanks for joining me.

Green Thumb





Hi everyone.  I am her with a combo theme. It is for a Mother who loves gardening and for Arbor Day.  I scrap lifted the idea for the Tri-Shutter Fold card from Mary @ Cardz TV.   I apologize for the paper clip on the card but what do you do when the card just does not flatten enough.  I needed to hold it closed to photograph it.  I used my new Freshly Picked cart. for the cuts.  From my stash I added cherry gem stickers(I've had these forever), canvas twine,

canvas twine, Gems, flower sticker, Twine, MS flower punch, Studio G stamp sets, glitter & ink, My Pink Stamper sentiment & My Craft Spot Sentiment.  The MS flower is hanging with plastic thread which is all I had.  It was the most difficult part of the card and it didn't quite center.  Well that is what scrapping is all about.  Thanks for joining in on the fun and this was my very 1st Tri- Shutter fold card.

Blooming Time

Good Morning and Happy hump day to all.  I am hear wondering when I am going to experience true Spring weather.  Hear in NY it feels like we are nearing Winter.  Well, at least I could warm myself up with Spring projects.  Here I used Create A Critter cart. for the mushroom.  From my stash I added flowers, Studio G stamp ink & Glitter, Cuttlebug embossing and MS leaf & flower border.  All the paper was from my left over scraps.  I decided to make it a smaller card (4X4).  Thanks for dropping by and have a great day.

Spring Time

April Showers, Bring May Flowers

Hi all!  TGIF.  I am here with a Z fold card which has the April showers and the May flowers.  I used  April Showers, Simply Charmed and my new cart., Life is a Beach.  For the flowers I used a combination of Studio G, Recollections & punched flowers(Marvy) with Dew Drops.  I added glitter rick-rack ribbon and glitter ribbon from my stash.  I embossed the inside and cloud with Cuttlebug embossing folders.  I finished it off with Studio G stamp, Clear Stamp and Peachy faces (PK-573 & PK-943).  Have a fun filled weekend.  thanks for joining me.

Peace Out

Happy Sunday to all of you. It's been a great weekend here in NY.  I have a tag I made for my teen granddaughter which is always in jeans, sneakers and tees.  I used Formal Occasion & Pop-Up Card carts. From my stash I added twine, ribbon, Pearls(Recollections), Studio G stamps & Glitter and Antiquities Stamp collection for the background. MOM

Hope many of you are enjoying the Spring weather as much as I am.  Love opening my windows and feeling the mild breeze.  I am here with my 1st Mother's Day card of the year.  Even though it took some time to do I kept it quite simple.  I used an old Marvy flower punch for the sentiment and several Jolee pearls.  The pretty gem is also from Jolee( I won it some time ago).  From my stash I added ribbon, MS scalloped border punch, Fiskers Scalloped scissors and a K & Co. border.  The great thing is that all the paper was from left over scraps.  Thanks for joining me.

Sisters 4-Ever



Hi everyone.  I am back with a family card  I made with my granddaughters in mind.  I used Create A Critter, Everyday Paper Dolls & Everyday Pop-Up Carts.  From my stash I used, whats slowly becoming one of my faves, Peachy faces(PK-146 Piles of Smiles).  I also added Studio G Letter stamps and ink, letter stickers and Sakura gel pens.  The large flower was from my granddaughter's hair pieces which I added a button to.  I know it is going to seem crazy and I don't know if any of you do it, I learned from my Mom(seamstress) to always keep any accessories from old clothing you are discarding.  So I always keep buttons, zippers, hair pieces, etc.  Since I've been paper crafting I have been using many of my stored items.  I love special folds, so I decided to make it a Middle Step-Up card. Spring Breeze

Hope everyone is having a great week.  I am so excited to be here with my 1st pinwheels.  Always wanted to do one but found it to be complicated.  I had foolishly forgot about utube.  So I decided to go and check one out.  These rad pinwheels were the result.  I made them from Recollections specialty packs for my granddaughter. She loves Monster High and these designs go great with there fashion style.  I added some metal brads, I won some time back, and used a couple of wooden scures.  They turned out to be so simple to do.  Thanks for dropping by.

How Old?




Hi to all my bloggie friends and happy Monday.  The stamp I used for my card is a few years old. Don't remember where or when I purchased it.  It is a Studio G stamp and when I saw it I couldn't stop laughing.  I think the sentiment is so funny.  I stamped it 2X's, cutting out one and coloring it with Sakura gel pens.  From my stash I also added Studio G glitter, gem, buttons and ribbon.  I hand cut the banners and the scalloped frame was made using Create a Critter cart.  I finished it with 2 new MS punches(flower border & flower).  Have a swell week and thanks for joining me.

Baby Bunny

Happy TGIF to all my bloggie friends.  I am so excited to find out that all this week It will be in the 60's.  Isn't that just wonderful!  I have been eagerly awaiting warmer weather.  Here  is a card that will finish warming you up and maybe even put a smile on your face.  I used Simply Charmed cart. and my brand new toy, MS round puncher which I received from HSN.  I embossed the flower, carrots & backround for pop and added a cute Peachy face(Piles of Smiles PK- ) with Sakura gel pens.
