Perfect Sentiment Combination Challenge

I want to apologize to Jennipher @ Perfect Sentiments for my confusion in this event from the Oct. 10th to the 30th.  I thought that the 1st post specified that I had to finish  all the challenge and place the link on my blog which I did.  I recently found out I also had to post about the fun event and we had the hurricane hit.  Now I am so behind on everything.  I hope that I am still within the cut off time  to be eligible for the prizes. Thanks for all the fun challenges.

Thanksgiving

Hi all my bloggie friends.  It is so good to be back.  As most of you know, it has been a crazy & scary few days with NY's Superstorm.  I had no internet service and was hunkered down, praying that all the trees kept there roots.  I consider myself extremely lucky in comparison to many others who lost so much more  and many who are without power.  I hope that they can all be back on there feet soon.
I am here with a Thanksgiving card, using Paper Doll Dress Up cart.  I add some embellishes from my stash(3 Girl Jam ribbon, We R Memories Twine, and Pearlized beads).  The sentiment is an old Studio G stamp.  I inked the cuts with Studio G brown ink.  Thanks for dropping by.

Witch Concoction

Yippee! Happy TGIF to all the bloggies out there.  Even though weekends are always busier for me than weekdays.  I have a fun and tasty treat box that I recycled from some ribbons I won.  I used Paper Dolls Dress Up & Happy Hunting carts.  The extras from my stash are Silver, purple & black gel pens, We R Memory twine, gems, Studio G glitter, Studio G brown ink, orange Sharpie & Studio G Halloween tag stamp.  I also added some embossing from Cuttlebug.  The tiny tag is new from K & Co.  This is my 1st Halloween using these carts. and I just love them. I never grow tired using them.  Have a FUNtastic weekend.

Happy Haunting

Hi everyone and Happy hump day.  I am excited about having had the opportunity to finally play with my new Peachy Keen stamps(PK-693 Monster Mash faces).  They are so much fun.  I also used 2 different Studio G stamps, jelly's for the eyes, MS cracks punch and Fiskers scissors.  The cute Boo ribbon is brand new and beautiful. I won it @ Stamp, Cut  & Create from Maria.  She sent me paper, letters, vellum sentiments & a set of ribbons from Anna Griffith.  They all match and the quality & colors are just stunning. Thanks so much Maria.  The carts. used were Paper Doll Dress-Up and Indie Art.  I finished it off with a purple glitter gel pen, black & white gel pens.  EEnjoy the rest of the week and keep on crafting.

Black Halloween

Hi everyone.  The days seem to be blending one into the other and it is just crazy how fast time seems to be moving, at least for me.  I am here with a tag.  I had not made one in a long time.  This one is both Spooky & Fun.  I used the Happy Haunting(pumkins) and MS Seasonal(grass & tags) carts. I also used several different stamps:  Peachy Keen(PK-550 Pumpkin faces), Studio G (spider webs), Bugbites Magic Spells sentiment(which I decided to put on the back & We R Memories (tree).  I finished it off with some We R Memories twine,  Recollections Ribbon & ribbon from Marshalls.  I really like the way it turned out. Ever since I saw black pumpkins a couple of years back I love um.  Oops, almost forgot to mention I placed an Action Wobble on the bigger pumpkin.  Thanks for dropping by.

Night has Fallen

Hi all my bloggie friends.  Glad to be back with another fun Halloween card.  I tried to make it movable by setting up the skeleton to sit up when card is opened.  It didn't work out that well.  He does sit up slightly with a hand cut piece of cardstock I folded and glued to the back.  I used Happy Haunting cart. with some awesome paper from Recollections(last years).  The sentiment is from Bugbites Magic Spells Halloween stamp set and the skeleton is from the new Recollections Halloween stamps.  I finished it with some Studio G red glitter and a black gem.  Thanks for dropping in.

On The Farm

Hi all my bloggie friends.  I am so happy to say that we had a gorgous and sunny weekend.  It was wonderful to see and feel the sun.  It helps me forget  that winter is coming.  In my recent owl project I mentioned I did two projects with the new and super Nate's ABC's.  It has such fantastic cuts.  This goat is just too cute.  I also decided to try my 1st Center Step-Up card.  The sign can be cut out with the letters but it was not working for me, so I wrote them in with a gold gel pen.  I added some flowers I received from a friend and added gems to them.   I used a white gel pen for the door on the tiny farm house on the larger sentiment.  I am grateful to all those that have stopped by.  Come back again.

Frosty Critters

I am here with my 1st Christmas card since Christmas in July.  I wanted to make it a scenery card but also keep it simple.  I used Winter Woodland cart. fot the entire card.  I added some embellishes from my stash.  The snowflake is from a mini garland I bought on clearance for 69 cents in January.  The mini pearls are MS which were given to me by a friend.  I placed a black gem on the bird and used Studio G white glitter and Cuttlebug embossing folders (Divine Swirls & Swiss Dots.  I just love this sentiment.  Hope to have you back soon.

Bust A Move

Hey everyone.  Hope you are all having a great weekend.  I am here with another card in honor of Breast Cancer.  Supporting all those brave fighters out there.  I kept forgetting about a set I bought last year from Kaban at HSN.  It has such beautiful girly chipboard die-cuts.  The 1st scalloped back layer from the top is Kaban also.  I added it to the 2nd scalloped layer, black Recollections.  The Polka dot paper is also from Recollections.  Both were cut with a Sizzix Scalloped die-cut.  To pretty it up I added pearls.  I used my new MS butterfly border punch and added Studio G glitter with some black gems.  I finished it with a sentiment using letters from Lyrical Letters cart. and decorating the inside.  Thanks for coming by and hope you enjoyed  it.

Wild Thing

I am back with a quick man card I did. I must admit that I did some of my usual spacing out for a while. LOL.  That was after looking thru my carts.  After a long, long while I came up with this.  I used the Indie Art cart. and an old Studio G stamp w/a gem.  I was excited about finally using my Grids & Gears(Tim Holtz) embossing folder.  I just love it.  Thanks for dropping by.

Get Well Soon

Hi all my bloggie friends. I would say Happy Hump day to you but it is almost over.  I have been busy crafting my heart away today.  I was falling so behind, I decided I would leave the computer for a day and focus on the card making.  I am today with a Get Well card.  I had an opportunity to use Nate's ABC's for the 1st time, even though I've had it for several months.  I found two cute and fun cuts I could do.  I made 2 cards and will be posting the 2nd one after this.  The owl ribbon is also new and have had it for a while.  I just added some gems to the eyes.  The extra embellishes are some flowers from the dollar section at Michaels and a gem leaf.  I finished it w/a sentiment from Hero Arts. Have a blessed day.

Just Treats

Hey bloggies.  I am really excited about this project.  It is true that it took quite a bit of hand cutting and measuring but I finally made my 1st candy holder card.  I was so proud when I finished. All the patterned paper is from Cloud 9 Design from last year and the ribbon and cardstock is  from Recollections.  I used 3 different stamps: Studio G(sentiment on front card), BugBites Magic Spells and new Recollections stamp(Spooky House).  I also cut out a single bat to place with foam dots.  To hold the candy inside I added 2 buttons and some twine.  The card is actually from a pre-made pack I won  @ Cardz TV from Studio G in white. I covered it up with the paper. The journal paper is also from Recollections.  The finishing touch is a fence from MS border punch.  Thanks for dropping by.

Gratitude

Hi to all my bloggie friends. Time just seems to be swimming by. Hard to believe it is mid October already.  I am here with a Thanksgiving card feeling like the year is almost over.  I used Create a Critter cart.  and found some old stickers with gems in my fall container .  The inside sentiment is from Studio G.  I used a Peachy Keen face(PK-493Everyday Character face parts) ribbon, Cuttlebug embossing folders (Divine Swirls & Swiss Dots) and MS doily border punch.  I recently received a new MS border punch(Pine leaves).  Just love this cute little turkey.  My entire card was made from left over scrap paper.  Thanks for joining me and come again.

RATS!

Hi everyone. It was so wonderful to see the sun beaming down after 4 days of gloom.  I am here with a Halloween card I did with the Happy Haunting cart.  I did one small alteration by cutting a small fang and using a white gel pen to transform the rat into a blood sucker.  I added some twine, Studio G purple & orange glitter, and a bone gem.  I decided to add an Action Wobble to the rat.  The sentiment is from BugBites Magic Spells stamp set.  I think this sentiment is so cute and funny.  You will not believe that all the paper I used was from scrap pieces left over from last year and various projects.  Enjoy the rest of the weekend.  Blessings to you all.

Fall Banner

Hi to all my bloggie friends and TGIF to you.  I have not been online much but I have been busy making a variety of cards and 3-d projects.  They are fun but time consuming.  Here is a Fall Banner which I made with Simply Charmed, Classical Letters & Doodle Charm carts.  It was the 1st time working with the scarecrows. They are so cute and I just love scarecrows.  I added several embellishes from my stash to brighten them up (button brads, leaf gems, mini leaf & heart punch, jelly gems, Pebbles chalk and Peachy Keen faces (PK-693 Monster Mash faces).  I love making this and any #D project but sometimes avoid it to save time on quicker projects (terrible ain't I).  I realized that with all the holidays coming up I needed to get myself in high gear.  This will be perfect for my daughters front door.  I am soooo behind.  Thanks for dropping by.
