A Love Note

Hi all! The time is just flying by.  Happy Hump Day to all of you.  I made this quick and simple shaped card.  It is the 1st time using this cut.  From my stash I added a pearled flower, Studio G flowers glitter heart sticker & a sentiment from K. Andrews Valentine set.  I made a small adjustment by cutting off the original bottom flap and cutting out a traced one to fit the mailbox.  It now opens and closes.  I used a Peachy face(PK-943) and Pebbles chalk for the cheeks.  So happy you joined me.

Stamped W/ Love

Hi all my bloggie friends.  I can finally say that I finished the projects I was doing for my granddaughters, almost a month late.  Tell me I'm not behind!  I did this quickie card for a few challenges.  I just love the any stamp cut.  I used Create A Critter and Indie Art carts.  From my stash I added some embossing(one of my faves) w/Cuttlebug folder, Studio G red & pink ink, buttons(dollar section @ Michaels), sticker(Memories) and K. Andrews stamps.  Thanks for dropping by.

Sweet Valentine

Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend.  I feel like I will never stop playing catch up.  I think my Cricut machine is about to say Ta Ta.  Sometimes it rips the paper and other times it marks without cutting thru.  I've tried cleaning the mat, new blade and all the settings & pressures.  That is why I actually took over 5 hours to do this card and am taking forever to do my projects.  If my Cricut goes I will be lost!  I am hoping it is something simple.
For this card I used Everyday Pop Cards & MS Seasonal carts.  From my stash I added a heart  & flower gem, some glittery ribbon a flower from the dollar section @ Michaels, Cuttlebug Love embossing folder and MS doily border.  The sentiments are from K. Andrews.  The card is based on a sketch from The Cat's Meow.  Thanks for joining me and hope return.

Love is in The Air

I am here with my 3rd and final card for today.  I was not doing much crafting and was really falling behind on even my personal projects.  So yesterday I promised myself I would do some serious crafting and was able to do 3 cards which for me is rare.  If you saw how I work, you would be surprised!  I take a very long time to do the simplest project & longer for a difficult one.  I kept this one simple like the previous two.  I made the shaped card the same as the pacifier shaped card.  I also made a matching Pillow box using Wrap It Up, Create a Critter & MS Seasonal Carts.  It is the 1st time I use this sweet Koala Bear.  I used my new PK-135 Medium Bear Facial Features.  I did stamp one eye at a time because the face was to large for the stamp.  I finished it with PK white gel pen & Pebbles chalk.  Thanks for joining me today.

ALERT! Please excuse my confusion. When I went to enter the card I realized I needed a 3D project. So I went back and made the matching pillow box and added it to the card.  Sorry for the mistake.

Welcome BABY

I am back with my 2nd card.  I decided to make a shaped card and decided on a CAS style.  I used Doodle Charm, Simply Charmed & MS Seasonal carts.  To make the card I cut out the shadow @ 5 1/2 and traced just the bottom part on a scored & folded piece of cardstock.  I hand cut it and attached it to the back of the shadow cut.  I then cut out a regular cut 2X's(plain & patterned), again cutting off the top part from the patterned paper.  From my stash I added Studio G stamps, Pebbles Chalk, MS Starburst border punch, button brads(Recollections), ribbon(3 Girl Jam), PK white gel pen, Crayola pencil and PK-573 Basic Paper Doll Faces.  One new item used is Washi tape on border tag.  Just love making shaped cards. thanks for dropping be.  Please come back soon.

Winter Wishes

Happy Saturday and hope every one is enjoying the weekend.  I decided to get serious with my projects and made 3 cards yesterday, PHEW.   Still have projects to finish, which sadly will be sent late.  I made a winter card and finally used  a cut from Everyday Paper Dolls cart. I had been wanting to try.  From my stash I used some pink Skittles I won, brad buttons(Recollections), a pearl, Jute, Pebbles Chalk, PK white gel pen, Crayola red pecil and a Peachy Face(PK-573 Basic Paper Doll Dress).  The sentiment is the new White Christmas stamp set from Kimberly @ My Craft Spot.  Thanks Kimberly I just love it!  Thanks for joining me in the fun.

Boys Will Be Boys

Hi, hope everyone is doing well.  Still gloomy here!  Hope the sun shines soon.  We all know how we react when told to make a masculine card.  This time I ran over to Nate's ABC's cart. which I had only used once before.  It has so many wonderful masculine cuts.  I decided on this one which gave me a bit of a problem.  Can anyone explain to me why when I cut out the layers, they cut out at a different size?  I thought the related layers automatically cut at the same size.  I ended up taking much longer and cutting out the same cuts a few times.  From my stash I used Studio G black glitter, MS gate border punch(I cut off the bats), My Pink Stamper Lunchbox Thoughts stamp set and Cuttlebug B-Day embossing folder.  Most of the card was done with scraps.  I won the patterned paper(Echo Park/This & That) last year and am finally using it.  I really like this cut.  Thanks for dropping by.
