Red, White & Blue

Hi everyone.  Will make it quick since time is limited.  I used some old scrap paper with some old 3D sticker embellishment and ribbon.  I added some embossing with stars folder from Cuttlebug and inked it with Powderpuff chalk ink.  I also used MS deep edge flower punch.  It was a really quick card. Thanks for dropping by.

BBQ Time

Hi all my wonderful bloggie friends. Hope everyone is enjoying the weather out there, having loads of fun.

I want to send out a special request that everyone join me in prayer for 2 special people.  Emma's son where she has been by his bedside while doctor's are working hard to make him well again.  Emma stay strong and our prayers and love go out to you and your family.  Also, Sherrie and many people in her town have experienced flooding from severe weather.  Sending out blessings and hoping your lives can be normalized very soon.

Now on to my card.  Here is a deliciously fun card I did using Simply Charmed and Everyday Paper Dolls carts. I also used MS doily border & flower corner punch.  I wanted to embellish it so I blinged it up with some pearls, ribbon, white gel pen and Studio G pink glitter.  I finished it with a Peachy Keen face(PK-493).
Thanks for dropping by.

Let Freedom Ring

Her I am with the 2nd of 2 cards I did today and my grand helper was my granddaughter. I was looking for an interesting idea for the 4th of July and I came upon Captain America's Shield and loved the idea.  My granddaughter did all the embossing.  I found some old stickers and chipboard I got at a fantastic deal last year and decided to use them.  Since I do not own any stamps for this Occasion I wrote in the sentiment with a black gel pen.  I think any boy would love this shaped card.  Enjoy the rest of the week.  Oh, I almost forgot to mention I used my old George Basic Shapes cart.

Lovin Summer

Hi everyone. It's always a great day for me when I could make some cards and get to share them with all of you.  This is still a fairly new cart for me. I have only used Simply Charmed a few times.  I love how this card turned out.  I embossed the card itself with Cuttlebugs snowflake folder.  I wanted to cool off many of you who are now having super high temps.  I added Peachy Keen faces(PK-943 & PK-493) to all my cuts using Memento Tuxedo Black and a white & red gel pen.  I always save my popsical sticks to use them for such an occasion. these were from some corn dogs.  I inked the sun a bit with Studio G ink. I finished it off with an old rub-on from my stash. Thanks for coming by for a quick chill, LOL.

Fluttering By

Hi everyone.  Thank you to all those that wished me well.  I am still not where I would like to be and am working very little but hope to be my regular self soon.  I was planning on having 3 cards done, however I am happy I have at least one.  Even though it took me all day, it turned out great.  I used a Scrapchick pattern I purchased for a really sweet price.  I found some great stuff in my stash to embellish it.  I added some charms I put together, twine(MB Tresurista), gems(Recollections), flowers & stamp (Studio G), MS doily punch,  Flourish diecut(Sizzix), ribbon, glitter dot and brad. I used rich Cocoa ink(Momento) for the stamp and Peachy Keen face(PK-573). I finished it with Glossy Accents on the eyes. Wishing you all a great week.

Strumming Along

Hi everyone. I just loved making this card. I thought of my granddaughter the entire time.  She loves guitars.  Since I didn't own this cart. when I made this I hand cut the entire card.  I added some star gems to finish it off.  I don't remember any of the paper used. Thanks for dropping by.

Welcome Portrait

I am back with a 3D project, which is not my usual.  I must apologize on the turnout. I made the mistake of thinking light pink was a good color choice.  As I saw to late it was not. and I didn't put the letter backgroun(huge mistake) because it was not going to fit. I will have to redo it.  I used MS Elegant Art cart.and MS Doily punch. From my stash I used glitter dots from Recollections, flowers from Jani @ Paper Compulsions and Studio G pink ink. Thanks for joining me tonight.
